Captain Match

Captain Match — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Captain Match is a mobile puzzle game developed by Mehmet Ucar. This page explains what data the game processes. In short: the game does not ask for personal details such as your name or email, requires no account, and never sends your progress to our servers. Because the game is free, it shows advertising; Google, which serves those ads, processes your device's advertising identifier and certain technical data for that purpose. See section 4.

1. Personal data we collect

As the developer, we collect no personal data from you. The game does not request your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts or any similar personal data. There is no sign-up and no login, and we hold no user profile on any server of ours.

The one exception is advertising: our ad provider, Google, processes the data described below directly in order to serve ads. That data is not passed on to us.

2. Data stored on your device

Your game progress (completed levels, coins, booster counts and settings) is stored in a file on your own device only. It is not sent to us or to any third party. Deleting the app deletes this data.

3. Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). Your payment details never reach us; we neither see nor store them.

When a purchase completes, we store the transaction identifier issued by the store on your device. Its only purpose is to prevent the same purchase from being delivered twice. It is not personal data and it never leaves the device.

Purchasing is implemented with Unity Technologies' "Unity In-App Purchasing" service, which may process technical and device data in order to communicate with the stores. See the Unity Privacy Policy. The Google Privacy Policy and the Apple Privacy Policy also apply.

4. Advertising

To keep the game free, it shows ads through Google AdMob. There are two kinds:

Data processed for advertising

To serve ads, limit repetition, protect against fraud and measure performance, Google may process:

This data goes directly to Google. We do not collect, see or store it; we receive only aggregated, non-personal revenue reports. For how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your consent and choices

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent screen the first time they open the game, asking whether they accept personalised advertising. You can change that choice later in the game under Settings › Privacy Options.

If you decline personalisation, ads are still shown but are not selected based on your interests. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings:

The "No Ads" purchase

Buying the No Ads item in the shop removes the interstitial ads shown at the end of levels. Rewarded ads remain available — you only ever watch those by choice and they earn you coins, so removing them would take that reward away from you.

5. Install measurement, analytics and crash reporting

The game has no gameplay analytics and no crash reporting: we do not track which levels you play or for how long. Google AdMob measures only the performance of its own ads (see section 4).

To understand which ad or store page an install came from, and to measure ad revenue in aggregate, we use a measurement service called Tenjin. Tenjin may process:

Your name, email, GPS location and in-game behaviour are not sent to Tenjin. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, if you do not allow storing information on your device in the consent screen, no data is sent to Tenjin at all. Tenjin's privacy policy: tenjin.com/privacy

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent your data. The third parties that process data in connection with the game are:

7. Children

The game is not directed at children; it targets a general audience aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13 and we do not market the game to children. If you believe your child uses the game and you are concerned about data processing, contact us at the address below.

8. Your rights

Because we hold no record that identifies you, there is nothing on our side to erase, correct or export. To remove your local progress, simply uninstall the app. For advertising data you may exercise your rights with Google as the controller, and you can reset your advertising identifier as described above.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be updated. Significant changes will also be announced in the game.
